The 2025 Boston Whaler 380 Outrage is a 38-foot center console built on the manufacturer's unsinkable fiberglass hull. Powered by three 400-horsepower Mercury Verado four-stroke engines with joystick control, the boat reaches 58.9 mph and planes from 0 to 30 mph in 8.9 seconds. The triple-engine package includes electronic steering, skyhook autopilot, stainless steel propeller, battery trays, LED navigation lights, automatic bilge pumps, and fuel/water separators.
The layout centers on an open fishing deck aft with abundant space for anglers, complemented by comfortable bow lounges forward and a bow table. An air-conditioned cabin includes a fully enclosed head. The boat holds 445 gallons of fuel and accommodates 16 people.
Standard systems include a Simrad integrated navigation package with a 16-inch NSO EVO3S display, GPS, chart plotter, and active imaging three-in-one transducer with CHIRP, SideScan, and DownScan. A Simrad RS40 VHF radio with AIS and a Mercury VesselView Link round out the helm electronics. Additional features include a 7.5-kilowatt low-carbon monoxide generator, 60-gallon freshwater system, electric trim tabs, windlass with rode, and a molded fiberglass dive door on the port side.
This example includes numerous upgrades: platinum-painted hull with black graphics, sea gray exterior upholstery, teak seat back caps and armrests, a gyroscopic stabilizer, dual JL Audio stereo systems with six waterproof speakers and subwoofer, hardtop enclosure curtains, a 48-inch Simrad Halo radar with bird mode, and a canvas cover.
