2025 Cobalt R8 Surf

The 2025 Cobalt R8 Surf is a 27.8-foot bowrider powered by a single Volvo V8 430-horsepower engine with forward drive. This fiberglass hull is built for both speed and refinement, with a beam of 8.5 feet providing a stable, spacious platform. The boat shows 25 operating hours and comes equipped with Cobalt's surf-focused ballast system—a hard tank configuration paired with Surf Gate technology designed to generate a consistent, shaped wave for watersports.

The audio system has been upgraded throughout with JL Audio speakers: M6 7.7-inch units in the cabin, M6 8.8-inch speakers at the transom and tower, upgraded amplifiers, and an M6 10-inch subwoofer. Additional customizations include soft-grip flooring, a tinted windshield, canvas and umbrella for the aft lounge, and custom surfer presets integrated into the ballast controls.

The boat has been serviced and remains in original condition with minimal use. It retains its complete factory documentation and build specification sheet.
