2025 Contender 44 ST

The 2025 Contender 44 ST is the builder's largest center console to date, engineered for high-speed bluewater sport fishing. Powered by quad Yamaha outboards delivering 1,400 horsepower, it reaches speeds above 62 knots. The 44-foot hull spans a 12-foot beam and incorporates Contender's proven double-stepped design with reverse chines, built to deliver a soft, dry ride and strong seakeeping performance in varied conditions.

The boat's layout prioritizes fishing functionality alongside comfort. Forward seating is recessed under the gunwales to preserve open deck space, while a large lounge with three storage compartments sits ahead of the center console. The helm features a curved Strataglass windshield with unobstructed views, space for two 24-inch Garmin multifunction displays, and triple ladder-back seats with teak trim. Below the console sit a freshwater head and sink, alongside electrical panels. Large in-deck storage compartments accommodate extended offshore trips.

The cockpit spans more than 100 square feet and is configured to handle eight to nine anglers. It includes multiple live wells totaling 220 gallons, a walk-through transom, rod holders, outriggers, and a tackle station positioned behind the helm seats for convenient gear changes. Trim tabs and comprehensive storage throughout support both recreational and competitive fishing operations.
