The 2025 Spanish Wells 21 is a modern interpretation of a legendary design that originated in the 1980s for commercial lobster fishing and diving in the Bahamas. Dragonfly Boatworks continues building this proven hull, which has earned its reputation as a workhorse skiff among both professional and recreational operators. The 21-foot center console features a fiberglass hull with a 7-foot beam, engineered for smooth riding and offshore capability in a compact, versatile package.
Power comes from a new Yamaha 150 hp gasoline engine with fly-by-wire controls, equipped with only 10 hours of running time. The boat includes a 2024 Continental single axle trailer for transport. A comprehensive suite of electronics and comfort upgrades are installed: Garmin 8612 chartplotter, Fusion stereo with JL Audio speakers, Yamaha digital gauges, VHF radio, navigation lights, and an underwater light. The helm and cockpit benefit from dedicated lighting, and trim control is handled by Lenco tabs with a hydraulic jack plate.
Onboard amenities include a Bimini top for sun protection, freshwater and raw water washdowns for cleaning, upgraded cushions, and a battery charger. Bottom paint is applied. The boat is equipped and ready to fish, cruise, or explore shallow water and offshore grounds.
