2025 Dufour 48

The Dufour 48 is a modern cruising sailboat built in fiberglass, measuring nearly 47 feet with a beam of almost 16 feet. Powered by an 80-horsepower Yanmar diesel saildrive engine, it reaches a maximum speed of 9 knots and cruises at 7 knots. The boat features five cabins and two heads, making it well-suited for extended cruising or charter use.

Deck equipment includes a bow thruster tunnel propeller, lazy jacks and lazy bars, a rigid boom vang, and self-tacking headsail. The mainsail is battened with a boom gallows, and a Genoa is supplied instead of the self-tacking foresail. Four T50 winches are fitted—two aft and two on the rail for a German system with mainsheet—along with Genoa track and sheet systems. A gennaker setup is included. The boat carries a 2000-watt windlass, dual Triton 2 repeaters, a 9-inch Zeus 3 GPS chartplotter, a VHF radio, and an autopilot with hydraulic ram steering.

The cockpit includes a shower with hot and cold water, a table with stowage, electric opening platform tender garage, spray hood, bimini, and cushioned seating. Below deck, the electrical system runs on 220 volts with a 90-amp battery charger, 1600-watt inverter, and 40-liter boiler. Power includes electric fresh-water pumps, an electric head, and a Fusion stereo system with speakers in the cockpit and saloon. Additional features are a gas barbecue, induction phone charger, and an outboard motor bracket. Fittings include 50 meters of chain, stainless steel bow protection, and standard interior joinery.
