2025 Dutch American DA 53

The Dutch American DA 53 is a 53-foot aluminum motor yacht built around quad Mercury Verado 600 diesel engines delivering 2,400 horsepower. The design pairs European styling with purpose-built performance, supported by Mercury joystick steering, a Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilizer, and a Sidepower bow thruster for responsive handling.

The interior centers on two cabins and one head. The master cabin runs the full beam amidships, while the guest cabin provides additional sleeping quarters. A split shower and head configuration, dark natural oak flooring, and a U-shaped leather settee in the salon establish a comfortable cruising environment. The salon also includes a convertible hi-lo dining table and a retractable sunroof for open-air entertaining.

Topside, the layout prioritizes relaxation and social gathering. A bow sun pad and bench seating forward transition to dual hi-lo cockpit dining tables aft. The aft deck features another sun pad with storage, while a hydraulic swim platform with stairs facilitates water access. The helm features adjustable quad bolster chairs positioned for long-distance control.

Systems support extended voyaging: a Northern Lights 10kW generator, Mastervolt inverter, Webasto 30,000 BTU climate control, and a full galley with induction cooktop and full-height refrigerator. Garmin navigation electronics manage passage planning and positioning. Exterior finishes include Bentley Blue hull paint, Sunbrella upholstery, and Flexiteek decking throughout.
