The 2025 Edge 556 is a 15-foot aluminum duck boat built with all-welded construction and a high-performance V-bow hull featuring an 8-degree V-hull design. The boat rides on a 20-inch transom and incorporates a 56-inch narrow bottom with 24-inch side walls for stability and capacity. The aluminum hull uses upgraded 0.100-gauge thickness for durability, while longitudinal ribs reinforce the structure. The beam measures 6 feet 6.5 inches across.

The deck layout includes a mid-deck configuration with front storage and a rear deck lid, along with a front deck lid for additional access. The diamond-plate floor provides traction, and the boat features a heavy-duty gunnel with welded grab handles and welded cleats. A timber beam adds interior bracing, and the 4-person capacity accommodates small crews.

Equipment includes a battery tray, gun tray, bilge pump, troll motor prewire, and recessed switch panel. Navigation lights with switch are installed, and LED interior strip lights illuminate the cabin.
