The 2025 Excel 21 Storm Cat is an aluminum runabout designed around serious fishing capability. An 18-degree deadrise hull cuts through rough water efficiently, with a 80-gallon livewell, rod lockers, and abundant storage defining the fishing platform. The boat is rated for up to 300 horsepower and reaches speeds to 55 mph.

Construction emphasizes durability: 0.250-inch gauge aluminum bottom, 0.190-inch transom, and 0.160-inch sides and floors. The self-bailing front deck includes a wash-down station with pump and hose. Driver and passenger air-ride suspension seats, a 70-gallon fuel tank, and a biminitop with full enclosure are standard.
