The 2025 Excel 230 Bay Pro Elite is a 23-foot aluminum runabout built for serious fishing and shallow-water performance. The hull uses 0.160-inch aluminum—thicker than standard for bay boats—combined with a 14-degree pad design with lifting strakes that deliver a dry ride and allow the boat to reach speeds higher than typical in its class. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Yamaha engine, it accommodates up to nine people and carries a 30-gallon fuel capacity. The boat weighs 1,825 pounds fully loaded.

The deck layout centers on fishing capability. The bow includes a 45-quart insulated fish box, twin built-in tackle boxes, integrated trolling motor bracket with 24-36 volt power, and dry storage. The console features six rod holders and a 16-gallon livewell. Twin rear deck jump seats with storage flank a 20-gallon livewell, with a deluxe lean post offering additional rod holders and cooler mounting.
