2025 Fairline Squadron 50

The Fairline Squadron 50 is a 50-foot flybridge motor yacht powered by twin Volvo Penta diesel engines producing 960 horsepower combined. Built from fiberglass, the boat reaches speeds of 30 knots and cruises comfortably at 22.8 knots. The design reflects Fairline's heritage—the UK builder has operated from the same location since 1967—with refined construction including full-length spray deflectors, strengthening stringers throughout the hull, and polyurethane foam cores in the deck for thermal insulation.

Accommodations span three cabins and two heads. The master stateroom features a full-length double bed, en suite with full shower and electric toilet, and includes vanity, wardrobe, and storage. Forward is a second cabin with convertible V-berth and access to its own shower/WC. The third cabin offers twin bunks. The main saloon includes dining table, sofa, and 32-inch LCD television, with a galley featuring full-size oven, grill, and refrigerator/freezer. A lower saloon provides additional seating and entertainment space.

Twin helm stations—one lower, one on the flybridge—offer full control redundancy. Both feature Garmin GMi 20 digital instrumentation displays, electronic single-lever throttle and gear controls, IPS joystick, and remote anchor winch operation. The flybridge includes a bar unit with refrigerator and sink, helm seats, and convertible seating that transforms into a sunbathing area. Navigation equipment includes Garmin radar, GPS chartplotters, and VHF radio at both stations.

The boat carries a comprehensive specification of deck equipment: electric anchor winch with chain locker, self-stowing delta anchor, teak-laid bathing platform with swim ladder, hot and cold transom shower, twin transom gates, stainless steel pulpit and fairleads, and toughened glass curved windscreen. Dual fuel tanks with changeover valve, pressurized freshwater system with calorifier, and automatic bilge pumps support extended cruising. Factory options include bow thruster with Sleipner unit, air-conditioning, radar, marine cameras, underwater transom lighting, and choice of interior styling from four design ranges.
