The Samana 59 is a 61-foot catamaran designed for extended offshore cruising. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 300 horsepower provide propulsion, with a cruising speed of 8 knots. The hull's wide 31-foot beam creates generous internal volume and stability across the twin hulls.
The layout centers on a dedicated owner's stateroom in one hull, providing private quarters separate from guest accommodations. Four cabins and four heads serve the full complement of inhabitants and guests. The galley is positioned below the saloon level, supporting efficient provisioning and meal preparation during long passages. The main saloon opens forward to a signature cockpit and flybridge above, creating distinct zones for living, dining, and outdoor entertaining.
The Samana 59 balances performance with comfort through thoughtful design and robust systems built to support extended time at sea. This 2025 model represents the current generation of the design, featuring the improvements and refinements Fountaine Pajot has developed for this platform.
