The Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47 is a 46-foot cruising catamaran designed by Berret-Racoupeau for volume, balance, and offshore capability. Delivered new in 2025, this example runs twin Volvo diesel engines of 120 horsepower each with under 260 hours of runtime. The 25-foot beam provides the wide, stable platform the design is known for, while power and systems remain fresh with minimal use.
The galley-up layout connects the kitchen, saloon, and cockpit into one flowing living space suited to family cruising and entertaining. Three cabins include an owner's suite with full-beam beam accommodation to port and two guest cabins to starboard, each with private heads. All bunks have slatted bases. The layout prioritizes comfort and circulation across the bridgedeck.
Systems and equipment reflect serious cruising intent. Solar panels totaling 1,700 watts feed into a 750Ah AGM battery bank paired with a 2kW Victron inverter. A 105-liter-per-hour watermaker, washer-dryer, and 64,000 BTU air-conditioning support extended voyaging. The galley includes a 190-liter fridge, 90-liter freezer, three-burner stove, oven, microwave, and cockpit ice maker. A Fischer Panda 11kW generator with around 230 hours provides backup.
Sail handling combines efficiency with ease. The mainsail spans 75 square meters, the genoa 52 square meters, backed by electric winches and a bowsprit configured for a gennaker. Navigation relies on a complete Garmin suite with dual chartplotters, radar, AIS, autopilot, and wind instrumentation. Deck gear includes a 30kg anchor and 110 meters of 12mm chain. The hydraulic swim platform, helm and cockpit enclosures, and integrated gas plancha round out the outdoor spaces.
