The 2025 Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47 is a composite catamaran designed for extended cruising and world voyaging. Measuring 45.73 feet with a 25.26-foot beam, this four-cabin, three-head layout offers a large owner's suite on the port side. The boat is configured throughout with custom cushions, upholstered covers, and fitted curtains. The cockpit features a convertible table that transforms into an expansive sun lounging area, and hydraulic davits are installed for tender handling.
The electrical system prioritizes off-grid autonomy. Approximately 3,300 watts of solar panels feed a 1,200-amp 24V lithium battery bank with additional 600-amp 12V capacity. Two 5,000-watt charger-converters manage power distribution, while dual Mastervolt 24V/110A alternators and dual 12V/115A alternators provide engine-driven charging. A 105 liters-per-hour desalination unit operates on 24V power. Navigation systems include radar, Starlink connectivity, forward and aft cameras, and a second autopilot. Ventilation is handled by new, programmable fans.
The sailing inventory includes offshore sails in Hydranet, a new Code 0, and a gennaker with associated hardware. Rigging features a 35-kilogram Ultra Marine anchor with 80 meters of 12-millimeter stainless steel chain, plus a second mooring line of 70 meters galvanized chain with a 25-kilogram anchor. Max Prop propellers and feathering props are fitted. Water systems incorporate port-water filtration and tank treatment. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 114 horsepower each power the hull. The boat was completed in January 2025 and delivered in April 2025.
