2025 HopYacht 30

The HopYacht 30 is a 2025 fiberglass catamaran built in South Africa with an electric propulsion system designed to deliver comfort and ease of handling in a compact package under 31 feet. Twin Pod E-Propulsion Evo 6.0 motors rated at 6 kW each draw power from dual lithium batteries with a combined capacity of 28.8 kWh. At cruising speed, the boat achieves an operating range of 40 nautical miles or more than 70 kilometers on battery alone, with extended range available through 1,600 watts of integrated solar panels and energy regeneration when sailing above 5 knots. The beam measures 11.29 feet, though the boat's actual width at the mooring line is 3.44 meters, allowing it to occupy a standard monohull slip.

The deck is equipped with a tilting mast, Raymarine autopilot, wind indicator, anemometer, depth sounder, and safety gear rated for four persons. Onboard stowage includes 5- and 10-meter mooring lines and six fenders. The interior features blackout curtains for the forward cabin, saloon, and head.

This boat has served as a demonstration model and has completed approximately ten test passages at sea. It carries no rental history.
