The 2025 Manitou Explore 26 is a tritoon pontoon built on the V-Toon hull design, which combines the handling characteristics of a sport boat with the spacious comfort of a pontoon. It measures 30 feet in length with an 8-foot beam and rides on three reinforced aluminum tubes. The hull features a centered tritoon configuration with positive-angle lifting strakes and reinforced nose cones designed for a flatter ride and sharper entry into the water. Splash guards are standard across the hull.
Twin 150-horsepower Rotax S outboard engines power the boat, delivering 200 total horsepower. The Rotax S engines use direct injection technology and are positioned with a low profile that frees up additional stern space. Fuel capacity is 43 gallons. The engines require no oil changes, no break-in period, and offer one-touch winterization. Maintenance includes annual inspections only, with no dealer-scheduled service required for the first five years or 500 hours.
The standout feature is the 6-foot Max Deck extension, adding approximately 55 square feet of usable space at the stern. This is enabled by the low profile of the Rotax engines and can be used for lounging, storing water toys, or creating additional seating. The boat features a single-piece composite deck, modular furniture, and an integrated digital helm system with large multi-function displays. Garmin navigation and a Digital Vessel Control System manage boat functions. Integrated RGB lighting and automotive-inspired design finishes complete the interior.
The tritoon construction uses extruded aluminum framing with thicker tube walls, full-length risers, and cross-members designed to reduce sound and vibration. The composite decking replaces traditional marine plywood. Weight is 4,250 pounds.
