2025 NauticStar 242 Offshore

The 2025 NauticStar 242 Offshore is a 24-foot center console built for fishing in near-shore and offshore waters. Powered by a single 300-horsepower Yamaha engine, the boat features a fiberglass hull with wood-free construction, vinyl ester barrier coat, and fiberglass stringer grid system. The beam measures 8.5 feet, with a 19-degree transom deadrise and 42-degree entry deadrise. Fuel capacity is 106 gallons.

The layout prioritizes angling functionality with dual insulated forward fish boxes, two 30-gallon port and starboard fish boxes, and two livewells—one forward plumbed for offshore use with 19-gallon capacity and one aft with recirculation and aerator pumps. Ten stainless steel gunnel rod holders, horizontal rod holders on each side, and four rocket launcher rod holders provide rig storage. Forward seating includes a large lounge and wraparound bow seating upholstered in Syntec vinyl with Nano-Block Stain Protection.

The console houses a Simrad NSX9 9-inch multifunction display with gauge package, Simrad RS20 VHF radio, custom stainless steel wheel with power knob, flush-mount compass, and Fusion stereo with Bluetooth and four speakers. An enclosed head with LED lighting and a 70-quart cooler are onboard. Stainless steel hardware includes thru-hull fittings, pull-up cleats, rub rail, bow rails, 4-step ladder, and propeller. The boat includes trim tabs with LED switch, raw water washdown and transom shower, auto bilge pump, and an integrated power windlass with anchor.
