The Nimbus Tender 9 is a 30-foot fiberglass cruiser built to adapt to multiple uses—day trips, water sports, fishing, overnight stays, or service as a tender to a larger yacht. Powered by a single Mercury Verado V8 250 HP engine, the boat cruises at 35 knots and reaches over 40 knots at full throttle. Its stepped hull design keeps the planning threshold low, balancing efficiency across a range of speeds.
The helm seats two and can be equipped with either a single 16-inch or dual 12-inch Simrad NSX plotters. The forward deck includes a large loading hatch accessing the cabin, with an optional daybed that accommodates four with a table. The aft deck can be configured as a straight sofa or a convertible U-shaped lounge seating five, which folds into a sunbed. A folding teak table and stainless steel railings throughout support both comfort and function on deck.
Below, a double berth sleeps two with integrated ventilation and storage underneath. A separate head includes a sink and mirror. The cabin features LED reading lights with USB charging, courtesy lighting, storage shelves, and interior carpet. The freshwater tank holds 14.8 gallons with a pump, and a 75-liter greywater tank serves the shower on the transom. Fuel capacity is 84.5 gallons. Additional features include a stainless steel pulpit, swim ladder, extended aft platform, anchor box, fire extinguisher, and an anchor light on a stainless steel mast.
Optional upgrades available include Mercury joystick steering, teak decking, underwater LED lights, a T-top or canopy cover, outdoor galley with sink and portable grill, shore power connector, stereo system, solar panels, electric anchor winch, and water-ski pylon. Engine options extend to 300, 400, and 450 HP V8s, or twin 225 HP FourStroke V6 inboards.
