The 2025 NorthCoast 255 HT is a 31-foot pilothouse designed for serious offshore fishing and extended cruising. Twin Yamaha F250 outboards deliver 500 horsepower, pushing the boat to near 56 mph with a comfortable cruising speed around 25 mph at fuel consumption of 12.9 gallons per hour. The standard 159-gallon fuel tank provides a range of approximately 268 nautical miles. Hand-laid fiberglass construction, foam-filled stringers, and a composite transom combine with a 22-degree aft deadrise deep-V hull to create a soft-riding, dry-running platform.
The cockpit prioritizes fishing functionality with an 86-square-foot self-bailing work deck, 30-inch freeboard for security in following seas, and two 139-quart macerated in-deck fish boxes. A 26-gallon blue-lit livewell, raw- and freshwater washdowns, twin tackle stations, gunwale rod racks, and cockpit toe rails support extended fishing operations.
The pilothouse offers all-season visibility through powder-coated venting windshields, sliding side windows, and dual wipers. The helm station accommodates dual 12-inch multifunction displays, with wide helm and companion seats mounted on shock-absorbing pedestals for all-day comfort.
Below, a convertible V-berth sleeps two at anchor, and a private enclosed head with holding tank enables overnight stays. An optional galley package—including sink, refrigerator, and single-burner stove—is available to extend the boat's weekender capability.
