The 2025 Princess V40 is a 42-foot fiberglass cruiser powered by twin Volvo diesel engines producing 760 horsepower. It combines practical cruising capability with well-appointed accommodations across a compact beam of 12.5 feet.
The interior features two cabins—one with a double bed and one with convertible twin bunks—plus a head with shower, full galley, and spacious salon. Teak flooring runs through the galley and across the main deck, while the salon is appointed in fabric. Reversible air conditioning and heating serve both cabins and the main saloon.
The cockpit is designed for entertaining and extended time outdoors, with a bar fitted with sink and electric barbecue, a refrigerator, hot and cold shower, and a large swimming platform accessed via a rear gate. An electric opening roof brings additional light and ventilation to the main deck. Teak decking extends across the exterior, complemented by a forward sunpad and hydraulic telescoping boarding platform.
Navigation and handling are well-equipped with electronic engine controls, hydraulic steering, a joystick control for maneuvering, autopilot, GPS chartplotter, VHF radio, and a bow thruster. Hydraulic trim tabs with cockpit readout aid performance, while a generator, battery charger, and shore power inlet support extended cruising. Winter and cockpit covers are included along with a remote-controlled searchlight.
