2025 Prout 72

The Prout 72 is a 72-foot fiberglass catamaran built in 2025 to CE Category A offshore standards. Designed by Bill Dixon Yacht Design and constructed by Floeth Yachts, it combines proven multihull performance with modern cruising comfort. Twin Yanmar diesel engines of 220 hp total power the yacht to a cruising speed of 9 knots and maximum speed of 12 knots. The beam of 35.5 feet provides stability and interior volume, while the 5-foot-6-inch draft suits varied anchorages.

Accommodation comprises seven cabins—five guest and two crew—with six heads distributed throughout. The main salon features panoramic windows, a full dining area, and a galley equipped with oven, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Dual helm stations sit protected under hard-top covering. The layout emphasizes open indoor and outdoor living spaces across both hulls.

Storage is generous, and the catamaran carries substantial fuel and water reserves with 2,000 liters each of diesel and fresh water. The fiberglass sandwich hull construction and spacious proportions support long-range voyaging, whether for private cruising or charter operation.
