The 2025 Ranger Tugs R-31 S is a 31-foot fiberglass pilothouse trawler built for extended cruising while remaining trailerable. Powered by a single 320 hp Volvo D4 diesel engine, the boat achieves a 16-knot cruise speed and comes equipped with bow and stern thrusters for easy maneuvering. The hull is finished in Midnight Blue, and the boat has 238 hours on the engine.
The deck layout emphasizes entertaining and working space. The foredeck features seating and a table that adjusts between underway and anchored positions. The cockpit wraps around the cabin with fold-out gunwale seats that stow when not in use, keeping the space open for daily operation. Teak and holly EVA foam decking throughout provides non-slip surfaces.
Below, the R-31 S offers two staterooms: a large island berth forward with its own head, and a midship berth served by a day head. The galley and helm station are positioned to maximize interior space, with a starboard side door from the helm providing easy access to the side decks for line handling.
Standard equipment includes Garmin 8616xsv chartplotter with sonar and xHD radar, Garmin autopilot with remote, AIS receiving, diesel generator with sound shield, air conditioning with reverse-cycle heat, 220-watt bi-facial solar panel, wireless thruster remote, aft station steering with electronic controls, and a full safety kit. A Float-On triple axle trailer is available separately.
