The 2025 Scout 231 XSB is a 23-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a Mercury 300XL V8 AMS engine. Designed for shallow-water and nearshore fishing, it combines the capability to pole the flats with the range to run offshore waters.
The boat features a powder-coated hardtop with integrated windshield, forward seating with backrests, and an elite leaning post fitted with a cooler. Navigation and fish-finding capabilities include a Garmin 8610 chartplotter and B60 transducer. The aft section holds two recirculating baiwells—port and starboard—along with bow rod and cup holders. A 6-inch hydraulic jackplate provides shallow-water performance, while rocket launchers mounted to the hardtop offer rod storage.
The exterior wears a Crystal Blue hull and top finish with Pearl Fusion White accents. Standard equipment includes a Lumitec light bar, LED underwater lights, fresh and raw water washdowns, a Power-Pole bracket mount, hardtop T-bag storage, a bow shade kit, and battery chargers for house, engine, and trolling motor banks. Mercury VesselView gauges provide engine monitoring throughout the helm.
