2025 Scout 261XSS

The 2025 Scout 261XSS is a 26-foot bay boat built with hand-laid fiberglass construction and a double-stepped hull. Powered by a single 250-horsepower Mercury engine, it combines inshore and offshore capability with fishing-focused design. The boat features a self-bailing cockpit, closed-cell foam flotation, and a 90-gallon fuel capacity.

The deck layout emphasizes function and space. A large casting platform spans the bow and stern, with port and starboard aerated baitwells positioned under the seating. Storage includes a center bow box, console coffin box, dry storage along both sides, and a substantial anchor locker. Rod holders total eight stainless steel units mounted flush, supplemented by additional rod storage at the leaning post. The powder-coated leaning post incorporates an Igloo cooler and accommodates four rod holders plus three cup holders. A flush rear deck features flip-up backrests and seat cushions.

Standard equipment includes a fiberglass hardtop with integrated acrylic windshields and an integrated carbon fiber T-top with enclosed windshields. Navigation and fishing electronics feature a Garmin 943XS display with GT12M transducer, power steering, and a 10-inch jackplate. A Fusion Bluetooth stereo system drives six JL Audio speakers distributed throughout the boat. Additional features include a battery charger for house and engine batteries, battery select switch, compass, Zipwake system, wireless phone charger mounts at the helm, pocket transom ladder, and navigation lights along the rub rail. A trolling motor plug accommodates three battery trays, with Power-Pole options available.
