2025 Scout 400 LXF

The 2025 Scout 400 LXF is a 40-foot composite sportfish powered by four Mercury 400 V10 engines producing 1,600 total horsepower. The quad-engine setup runs with joystick control, Skyhook positioning, heading hold, and autopilot; the engines have logged less than 100 hours. Zipwake automatic trim tabs manage ride and handling across sea states.

Navigation and fish-finding electronics are comprehensive. The yacht carries dual Garmin 8616 units and one Garmin 9222 chartplotter, paired with Garmin B75M and B75H transducers and a GMR 434 XHD3 radar. A Garmin VHF 315 radio handles communications. A FLIR M364C thermal camera with pan-and-tilt and color high-resolution capability rounds out the forward-facing systems. XM satellite stereo and weather complement the package, while a TV antenna provides additional reception.

Deck and cockpit feature a convertible leaning post with an integrated Kenyon grill, sink, and cutting board. Retractable rocket launchers, an electric Sureshade, and a Lumitec light bar are fitted. Bow pop-up LED lights and six Lumishore underwater LED lights enhance visibility and aesthetics. Below, a 12-kW generator provides shore power via a 50-foot Glendenning cord reel, while a Seakeeper 4.5 gyro reduces roll. The galley includes a fish ice maker; tackle drawers and a trash can support fishing operations. Additional features include a proportional bow thruster, wireless phone charger, and phone-to-Garmin HDMI connectivity.
