2025 Sea Fox 228 Commander

The 2025 Sea Fox 228 Commander is a center console fishing boat powered by a Yamaha F200XC outboard engine. At 22 feet in length with an 8-foot beam, the boat features a fiberglass hull finished in Silver Shark Gray with hull stripe and light gray powder coating throughout.

The helm station centers on a Dometic SeaStar hydraulic steering system with tilt adjustment and stainless steel wheel. Dual digital gauges display tachometer, speedometer, voltage, and fuel data with backlighting. The console includes a Garmin 1243XSV touchscreen with thru-hull transducer, Fusion stereo with six deck speakers, compass, windscreen, and space for two additional 10-inch flush-mounted electronics. A lockable console door, portable toilet, 12-volt power point, and integrated footrest complete the station. The Ultima hardtop features D-tubing construction with full enclosure, canvas awning, four tulip rod holders, rear spreader lights, and LED anchor light.

The bow includes a casting deck with removable filler board, stainless steel bow eye with chafe plate, anchor compartment with rope storage, curved backrest cushions, and recessed grab rail. Coaming pads with integrated fold-out forward-facing bow backrests provide seating. Under-seat storage combines cooler and fishbox functionality, supplemented by in-floor storage with 5-gallon bucket and removable filler cushion.

The cockpit features a leaning post helm seat with hinged bolsters and an aft bench with removable cushions. A 65-quart premium cooler with stainless steel tie-down kit sits integrated into the design. An aquarium-style livewell holds 30 gallons with 800 GPH aerator and window. Four stainless steel rod holders, ten cup holders, under-gunwale recessed storage, and a self-bailing cockpit with stainless steel grates support fishing operations. The transom includes a stainless steel walkthrough gate, plumbed and insulated storage cooler with beach anchor notch, and raw water washdown system. Additional equipment includes mechanical controls, command link round digital gauges, Lenco trim tab switch with LED indicators, fresh water washdown, and two extra rod holders with four quick release fender mounts.
