2025 Sea Fox 228 Commander

The 2025 Sea Fox 228 Commander is a 22-foot center console built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha gasoline engine. It combines fishing capability with comfortable day-boat cruising in a compact, maneuverable package.

The helm features a T-top with canvas awning, spreader lights, and integrated rod holders, along with a Dometic SeaStar hydraulic steering system and tilt wheel. The console includes digital instrumentation, a Fusion stereo with six deck speakers, windscreen, and space for optional electronics displays. Forward seating with contoured backrests and cushioned bow backing accommodates passengers in the bow, while a leaning post provides the helm operator comfort and sightlines.

The cockpit is built around fishing with an aquarium-style 30-gallon livewell with window and 800-GPH aerator, a 65-quart cooler mounted at the helm, and stainless steel rod holders and storage throughout. Ten cup holders, under-gunwale rod storage, and recessed electric trim tabs complete the working layout. The self-bailing cockpit features stainless steel grating and marine-grade decking.

The transom includes a stainless steel walkthrough gate, plumbed and insulated storage compartment, raw water washdown system with 15 feet of hose, telescopic boarding ladder, and transom saver. Bow amenities include a casting deck with removable filler board, anchor compartment with rope locker, and under-seat storage serving as cooler and fishbox. The boat comes equipped with a trailer.
