2025 Sea Fox 228 Traveler

The 2025 Sea Fox 228 Traveler is a 22-foot dual-console fiberglass boat powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine. It combines recreational fishing and family cruising in a compact, trailerable package with solid construction and thoughtful layout throughout.

The helm features a Dometic SeaStar hydraulic steering system with tilt adjustment, curved windshield with walkthrough, and digital instrumentation. A Fusion stereo with four deck speakers, compass, and ample dash space for electronics up to 7 inches complete the command center. The console includes a freshwater sink, portable toilet, and lockable head door. A bimini top with marine canvas provides weather protection over the helm and forward seating area.

The bow offers a casting deck with removable filler board, stainless steel fixtures including recessed grab rail and bow eye, and underseat storage that doubles as cooler and fishbox. The cockpit centers on a self-bailing design with full coaming pads and stainless grates. An aft livewell with window and 800-gallon-per-hour aerator supports serious fishing, while in-floor watersport storage, six rod holders, and a 36-quart cooler round out the functional layout. The transom includes a freshwater washdown shower, electric trim tabs, and boarding ladder.
