2025 Sea Pro 230 Bay
About This Yacht
The 2025 Sea Pro 230 Bay is a 22'8" center console bay boat built on a shallow-draft platform designed for inshore fishing and coastal running. With a beam of 8'4" and draft of just 12 inches, the boat moves through skinny water with precision while maintaining a 15° deadrise for confident ride quality in open conditions. The fiberglass hull is foam-filled at the sides and deck boxes to reduce vibration and noise, with a one-piece gel-coated stringer system chemically bonded using Methacrylate for structural integrity. Below the waterline, a vinyl ester barrier coat protects against blistering, backed by a 10-year hull warranty.
The boat accommodates eight passengers and carries a 61-gallon fuel tank. A single gasoline engine is rated to 250 HP maximum. Standard electronics include a 7-inch Simrad touchscreen multifunction display and Sea Pro Connect App integration. The console features a dry box with USB charging, power steering with tilt helm, and Audison marine audio. Stern jump seats and a standard leaning post provide seating options, with a swim platform and ladder at the stern.
Fishing-focused features include two 16-gallon livewells, multiple rod storage configurations (under-gunnel, vertical, and locking), and substantial insulated fish boxes: a 150-quart bow box, 72-quart stern cooler, and 80-quart in-floor box. Additional storage spans the console, jump seats, step-up, and lazarette. A dual battery switch, raw water washdown, trolling motor plug, and high-volume cockpit drainage system come standard.
The 230 Bay accepts numerous factory options: hard or canvas top, upgraded console or leaning post, trim tabs or Zipwake auto-level system, hydraulic jack plate, Power Pole anchor, VHF radio, cooler slides, casting chairs, sun shades, and porta-potty, among others.
