The 2025 Sea Ray SDX 270 Surf is a 27-foot bowrider built for wakesurfing and water sports. It runs on a 350-horsepower MerCruiser 6.2L gasoline engine paired with a Bravo Four S drive featuring contra-rotating propellers, SmartCraft Technology, and DTS for responsive handling and low-speed maneuvering. The design includes NextWave innovations with a tapered transom, hard-tank ballast system, and electric surf tabs to optimize the wakesurfing experience.

The open cockpit layout prioritizes flexibility and comfort. Helm and portside seat backrests convert to multiple positions, expanding the aft sunpad. A three-position transom seat transforms from a hard-back surface to an aft-facing configuration for spectating. Reversible seat backs allow the cockpit to be rearranged for conversation or watching sports. Starboard interior storage under the helm can be upgraded to include a head, and an optional cockpit heater with heated blanket extends the boating season.

Water access is straightforward with a broad swim platform, bow ladder, concealable ladder, and manual submersible swim step. An optional automated undermount submersible step is available. The layout provides ample storage throughout and a spacious setting for a full day of family water activities.
