The 2025 Vexus AVX1980 is a 19-foot, 10-inch aluminum bay boat built on an all-welded, high-performance pad hull. Its 7-foot beam combines with stretch-formed gunnels to maximize interior space while maintaining a responsive, smooth ride. The hull features a .125-inch bottom thickness and is engineered with the Vector Force transom to handle the weight and shock of modern outboard motors and stern-mounted equipment.
The cockpit centers around a SeaStar Pro hydraulic steering system backed by a full suite of electronics including a Humminbird Helix 5 CHIRP GPS at the console. The helm incorporates custom-contoured seating with multiple configuration options, and an adjustable driver's seat is available. Aft, a tournament-grade fiberglass livewell includes recirculating aeration, an auto-fill valve, pump-out, and an anti-splash ring. The rear deck features a Vector Force transom designed to absorb added stress from heavier outboards and gear.
Storage is extensive throughout. The design includes an 8.5-foot center rod locker, dual rod boxes at the bow, vast gear compartments, and a spacious rear power compartment. An insulated fiberglass cooler with drain and seal, plus oversized rear storage with gelcoat finish, further expand carrying capacity. The wood-free aluminum construction uses solid-state wiring and lit-tip switches for reliability.
The build emphasizes detail work: Hard Case paint with clear coat, all exterior surfaces painted including lid undersides, stainless steel tie cleats, large-diameter pedestal bases, and raised-lip construction on storage openings with weather seals. A custom Vexus trailer is included. Power comes from a professionally rigged outboard, with a crank battery tray and stainless steel propeller as standard equipment. The example shown is equipped with a Dual Pro on-board charger and MinnKota Ultrex 80 DSC trolling motor.
