2025 Viking 48 Convertible

The 2025 Viking 48 Convertible is a fiberglass sportfish powered by twin MAN V-8 diesel engines producing 1,200 horsepower each. The boat reaches 38 knots at top speed and cruises comfortably at 34 knots, making it well-suited for extended offshore runs. A SeaKeeper 9 gyroscope stabilization system is installed, complemented by a Sleipner bow thruster for precise maneuvering.

The interior layout includes three cabins and two heads, with an air-conditioned flybridge providing comfortable seating and control. The galley and accommodations follow Viking's Prestige interior package. Navigation and monitoring are handled by a full Garmin electronics suite, while Starlink connectivity and upgraded JL Audio speakers enhance on-board systems. An Onan 21.5kW generator supplies power, backed by dual freshwater pumps for redundancy.

The fishing-focused cockpit features a teak sole, Release Marine Rocket launcher, Rupp outriggers, and Miya Epoch US-9 HD teaser reels. A SeaRecovery Aquamatic watermaker provides fresh water for longer trips, and an Eskimo ice chipper keeps catch fresh. Upgraded livewell plumbing with a removable cockpit configuration and enhanced pump capacity support serious fishing operations. FLIR thermal imaging and underwater lighting add operational capability.

Additional equipment includes Optimus electric steering and mezzanine seating. The exterior upholstery throughout features diamond stitching. Warranties remain available on both engines and the SeaKeeper 9 system.
