2025 Walker Bay Generation 400 DLX
About This Yacht
The 2025 Walker Bay Generation 400 DLX is a 13-foot rigid inflatable tender built on a fiberglass hull with a deep V-shape designed for smooth water penetration and early planing. Powered by a single 50-horsepower Yamaha engine, it combines Walker Bay's proprietary Polyurethane Composite Micro Stringer system—which creates a lighter and stronger hull—with a unidirectional glass and polyurethane grid bonding system that eliminates the air cavities found in conventional RIBs. The result is a responsive boat that absorbs wave chop effectively while maintaining speed and agility.
The open cockpit layout prioritizes comfort and usability. An L-shaped bow bench seat doubles as a sun bed, while a high-back stern bench provides seating aft. The console includes a passenger backrest cushion and smoked windscreen, with an ergonomic design that minimizes fatigue. Ample integrated dry storage and a push-button hydraulic stern hatch offer practical space for gear, and a retractable ski post with integrated boarding ladder supports water activities.
Standard equipment includes stainless steel hand rails and pop-up cleats, a bow eye with double stern towing eyes, removable 360-degree pole light, LED navigation lights, electric bilge pump, built-in fuel tank, and three davit lifting points. The heavy-duty rub rail and ergonomic hauling handles reinforce the construction. Tube fabric is available in ORCA CSM, which offers superior UV and weathering resistance. The hull design features concave chines that deflect water downward to reduce spray and increase traction, while the flattened stern and sloping bow step work together to enhance stability and handling characteristics across speed ranges.
