The Wellcraft 38 Explorer is a 35-foot fiberglass cruiser built for offshore capability and speed. Powered by a single gasoline engine, it's designed as a fast, seaworthy cruiser that combines performance with comfort for extended voyages in varying conditions. The hull was developed through collaboration with naval architect Michael Peters and interior designer Camillo Garroni to deliver both handling and livability.
The wheelhouse is the central social space, featuring a fully equipped galley and seating for five. Large windows and a top-hinged door connect the wheelhouse to the aft cockpit, creating an open feel. Three sunbathing areas—two large lounges in the aft cockpit and a spacious bow bench—provide outdoor relaxation. Sliding side doors at the helm and large gates on either side of the aft cockpit offer easy movement and boarding access.
Below deck, the forward cabin includes a full-size bed and ensuite bathroom with a separate shower. The layout accommodates up to four sleeping berths total. The boat is configured with one head and a single cabin, offering practical overnight accommodations for cruising.
