The 296 DC is a 29-foot fiberglass catamaran built for smooth running in rough conditions. Its shallow draft and dual-hull design provide excellent stability, while the lower profile hardtop and enhanced deck layout offer comfort and practical space. Twin Mercury 300 four-stroke engines produce 600 horsepower total, delivering a cruising speed of 18 knots and a maximum speed of 46 knots. Joystick control comes standard.
The helm features an updated dash and switch panel with USB outlets for charging. The aft deck includes comfortable softback seating with safety handrails and a removable bow and stern table. Fishing amenities include a 25-gallon livewell in the port seat box and a 125-quart fish box to starboard. Courtesy lighting illuminates the bow, and an underwater light package in blue accents the hull.
Additional equipment includes a wiper system with rinse function, an upgraded M6-series stereo, and an Edson wheel upgrade. The boot stripe is finished in teal. The boat is designed to handle watersports and fishing equally well, with the beam of 9.5 feet providing the stability and interior volume expected from the catamaran platform.
