The 2025 Yamaha WaveRunner VX CRU is a three-person personal watercraft built around a 1049cc, 4-stroke engine that produces 125 horsepower. The longitudinal in-line, dual overhead cam engine features water cooling, electric start, and an 11.0:1 compression ratio paired to a direct drive transmission. A stainless steel impeller delivers power to the water. The craft measures 132.7 inches long and 48.8 inches wide, weighing 688 pounds dry.

Comfort and control are core to the design. The seating accommodates three passengers, and the R.i.D.E. brake and avoidance system provides stopping power and safety features.
