The 2025 Yamaha WaveRunner GP is an 11-foot jet boat powered by a four-cylinder, four-stroke 1.9-liter marine engine producing approximately 200 horsepower. Built from NanoXcel hull material, the boat weighs 714 pounds dry and reaches speeds up to 67 mph. It holds 18.5 gallons of fuel and offers 28.4 gallons of storage capacity, accommodating up to three riders.
The GP comes equipped with a 4.3-inch Connext LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity and factory-installed integrated speakers for audio. Control features include RiDE (Reverse with Intuitive Deceleration Electronics), electric trim adjustment, and launch control to manage bow rise on acceleration. A no-wake mode and cruise control are standard, along with an automatic bilge pump and Yamaha's electric trim system.
The design incorporates race-inspired ergonomics with deeper footwells and an updated seat. Standard instrumentation includes speedometer, tachometer, and mirrors. The boat uses an axial flow pump with direct drive transmission and water cooling via open loop system.
