2026 Alumaweld Columbia 23
About This Yacht
The Alumaweld Columbia 23 is an aluminum runabout built on the company's professional Super Vee platform, scaled up with higher freeboard and deeper vee hull for comfort and performance in rough water. The design incorporates Alumaweld's exclusive Ride Master Vee, which flexes the chine to deflect spray and chop while accommodating either jet or propeller propulsion. Hull thickness runs 0.190 inches on the bottom and 0.125 inches on the sides, built to withstand extended professional use. The boat measures 23 feet 5 inches in length with an 8-foot 4-inch beam and a 14-degree deadrise, rated for nine people and 1,350 pounds of gear.
The layout centers on fishing function. Four deluxe comfort seats sit on adjustable aluminum storage boxes across the deck. A three-compartment step deck provides a rope locker, dry storage, and fish box, all fitted with locking doors and Southco hardware. Full-length storage trays run beneath the gunwales, and the transom includes a two-door rigging compartment with a hot box. Forward of the windshield sits a foredeck locker. The full coaming gunnel accepts rod holders, downriggers, and electronics mounts without additional bracing.
Standard equipment includes six lifting and turning strakes for stability and tracking, a 2,000 GPH electric bilge pump with auto switch, running and mooring lights, a built-in aluminum fuel tank with gauge, and four rod grippers. Interior surfaces feature Aluma-Coat protective coating, with Armor Tech premium floorboards topped by non-skid Dura Tuff vinyl. Exterior finish is single-color single-stage paint with vinyl graphics. Control panel includes dual USB ports and a 12-volt outlet. The boat carries an exclusive lifetime warranty on construction.
