The Alumaweld Super Vee 20 is a shallow-water runabout built around a 6-degree V-bottom hull designed to ride smoothly across riffles and navigate skinny water. The aluminum construction features a one-piece bottom for consistent performance, reinforced with six engineered lifting strakes. At just over 20 feet long and less than 8 feet wide, the boat carries 900 pounds at capacity and weighs approximately 1,395 pounds. It accepts motors up to 115 horsepower on a propeller or 105 on a jet drive (tiller models limited to 80 jet horsepower) and holds 35 gallons of fuel.
The layout prioritizes storage and working space for anglers and guides. Two comfort seats sit atop watertight aluminum storage boxes, with additional dry storage built into an extended step deck and a dedicated fish box. A foredeck locker, transom storage box with tray, and full-length storage trays throughout provide organized rigging and gear placement. The full-height coaming gunnel accepts rod holders, cleats, and electronics mounting.
Standard equipment includes a five-switch electrical panel with dual USB ports, running and mooring lights, an electric bilge pump, and a fuel tank with gauge. The interior features Armor Tech floorboards with non-skid vinyl, an alum-coat finish, and protective underfloor coating. The boat comes with exterior paint in a single color with vinyl graphics. The hull is continuously welded aluminum throughout, with stainless steel hinges and Southco latches on storage compartments. Alumaweld backs this model with a lifetime warranty.
