About This Yacht
The Avid 21 Mag is a 21-foot bay boat built with a fully aluminum hull designed for inshore fishing in South Florida's bays and flats. The aluminum construction keeps the boat light and durable while minimizing maintenance compared to traditional fiberglass. Power comes from a Yamaha F150XD four-stroke outboard paired with a stainless steel propeller, delivering fuel-efficient performance scaled appropriately for the boat's weight and intended use.
The layout prioritizes fishing functionality. A Minn Kota Riptide Terrova 24V trolling motor with 80-pound thrust and 54-inch shaft handles shallow-water work. The boat includes a dedicated livewell for bait, integrated rod storage with Railblaza quick-release holders, and ReFlex foam flooring on the front and rear casting decks. A 50-quart K2 cooler with tie-downs, tackle storage, and a swim platform with ladder complete the working arrangement.
Onboard equipment includes a 9-inch Blackout dash with integrated Garmin GPSMAP, JBL stereo system with dual 6.5-inch speakers, dual battery switch with three-bank Minn Kota charger, trim tabs with LED indication, and EVA foam anti-fatigue helm mat.
