The Back Cove 372 is a redesigned express cruiser built on the proven 37 platform that earned over 200 hulls during its eleven-year production run. The new 372 incorporates refinements drawn from a decade of owner feedback and modern design advances while preserving the character of the original. The single Volvo Penta D8 diesel engine delivers 600 horsepower, with a 7-inch Garmin display integrated at the helm for navigation and engine monitoring.
The pilothouse features fixed-glazed windows that provide clear sightlines, with a center-opening windshield and opening appliances for improved ventilation and ease of use. The helm pod has been redesigned with a black windshield liner, upholstered surfaces, and new durable materials to reduce glare and resist staining. The cabin layout includes an updated salon door on the port side with a bi-fold window to starboard, and a new aft-facing cockpit seat with a folding armrest and drink holder.
Interior updates extend to the single head, which features an expanded medicine cabinet, oversized mirror, and redesigned shower. The electrical system has been upgraded to a 24-volt DC configuration that reduces copper weight and extends runtime for the bow and optional stern thrusters. The boat accommodates a single cabin and offers a cruising speed of 24 knots with a maximum speed of 30 knots.
