The Back Cove 372 is a newly redesigned express cruiser built on more than a decade of owner feedback and modern design improvements. At 38 feet with a 13-foot beam, the fiberglass hull is powered by a Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel engine producing 600 horsepower. The boat features an upgraded 24-volt DC electrical system that reduces copper weight, allowing for increased runtime on optional bow and stern thrusters.
The helm benefits from a black windshield liner and upholstered pod that minimize glare and expand space for navigation electronics. Fixed-glazed pilothouse windows replace sliding windows for better sightlines, complemented by a center-opening windshield with new operating mechanisms. The layout includes a new aft-facing cockpit seat to starboard with folding armrest and drink holder, paired with a port salon door and bi-fold window above the seat.
The single head has been reconfigured with an expanded medicine cabinet, larger over-sink mirror, and redesigned shower stall. Display and navigation options include a 7-inch standard display with the Cummins engine, or an optional Volvo Penta D8 diesel paired with a 7-inch Garmin display.
