The Back Cove 372 is a fully redesigned express cruiser that evolved from the proven 37 platform. Built on a new set of production molds, this 37-foot model incorporates over a decade of owner feedback and modern design refinements while preserving the classic character of its predecessor. The hull is fiberglass, and the boat is powered by a single 600-horsepower Volvo D8 diesel engine paired with a 7-inch Garmin display.
The pilothouse features fixed-glazed windows for improved sightlines and a center-opening windshield with smoother operating appliances. The helm pod includes a black windshield liner and upholstered surfaces to reduce glare, with expanded space for navigation electronics. A new aft-facing cockpit seat to starboard includes a folding armrest and drink holder, while a salon door to port and bi-fold window above the aft seat enhance flow and natural light.
Below decks, the head has been reconfigured with an expanded medicine cabinet, large over-sink mirror, and redesigned shower stall. The electrical system is a modern 24-volt DC configuration designed for efficiency and reduced copper weight. Standard and optional equipment on this example includes an upgraded inverter, electric power steering, Stidd helm chairs, Ultraleather salon and cockpit cushions, an all-in-one drawer refrigerator and freezer, a removable hardtop mast, electric cockpit awning, Zipwake trim control, fresh and raw water washdowns, and the Back Cove Easy Docking system.
