The Bali 4.2 is a 42-foot composite catamaran built by Catana Group, powered by twin Nanni diesel engines of 60 horsepower each. The hull design emphasizes open-air living through a distinctive tilting saloon door that opens the interior fully to the aft cockpit, creating a unified social space. A forward door provides direct access to the rigid foredeck, an uncommon feature on catamarans this size, with dedicated sunbeds and lounge seating.

Accommodation includes three cabins and three heads in the owner's layout, with the port-side master featuring a settee, desk, and separate shower. The saloon offers panoramic sightlines and houses a galley equipped with double sink, ample storage, and refrigerator-freezer. A flybridge accessible by dual staircases includes single-handed helm, forward-facing lounge seating, and an extended sunbed, with 360-degree visibility.

The design incorporates a solid foredeck in place of traditional trampolines, enhancing safety and usable lounging area. The aft platform spans both hulls and includes a shaded bench, swim platform with wide transom steps, and storage for scuba equipment or tenders. Fresh water capacity is 211 gallons, with fuel capacity of 211 gallons. The boat is equipped with a self-tacking jib; optional solar panels and Code Zero sail are available.
