The Bali 4.2 is a 42-foot composite catamaran built by Catana Group, powered by twin 100 hp Nanni diesel engines. The hull design prioritizes open-plan living, with a saloon that opens fully to the aft cockpit via a tilting garage door, creating an expansive social space that flows seamlessly onto the forward rigid cockpit—an uncommon feature for a catamaran this size, with integrated sunbeds and lounge seating.
Accommodations are available in two layouts: a three-cabin/three-head owner's configuration with a spacious port-side suite including settee, desk, and separate shower, or a four-cabin/four-head arrangement suited for larger groups or charter use. The saloon features panoramic windows, a galley with dual sinks and integrated refrigerator-freezer, and ample storage throughout. A flybridge accessible by dual staircases provides helm seating for single-handed sailing, forward-facing lounges, and a full-beam sunbed. An optional Jack & Jill bathroom configuration optimizes space.
The boat carries 211 gallons of fresh water and 211 gallons of fuel capacity, supporting extended cruising. Construction uses lightweight composite materials paired with Catana's advanced building methods. The foredeck is solid rather than trampolined, improving safety and usable deck space. An aft platform connects the hulls with a shaded bench, swim platform, and integrated storage accessed via wide transom steps. A self-tacking jib comes standard, with an optional Code Zero for varied wind conditions. Solar panels are available as an option.
