The Bavaria R40 is a 40-foot flybridge yacht defined by clean, elegant lines and a balance of sport and luxury. The boat offers a choice between Coupe and Fly configurations, each with expansive glazing that brings natural light into the interior spaces. Twin engines can be selected to suit individual cruising preferences, and the hull design delivers notable interior volume both above and below deck.

The flybridge features a generous lounge area positioned for panoramic sightlines, complete with an electrically operated sunroof. The helm stand on the Fly version is ergonomically designed with all instruments—GPS, engine displays, consumption data, depth gauge, and course information—organized for clear visibility and ease of operation. A built-in handrail enhances safety throughout the upper deck. Forward of the flybridge is a spacious sun deck with cushioned seating and a Bimini shade, while a hydraulically operated bathing platform aft accommodates tenders or personal watercraft.

Below deck, the saloon opens into a full galley positioned as an integrated design element rather than a separate galley space. Two suites anchor the accommodations: the owner's cabin aft features a king bed and a sofa, while the forward guest cabin includes a king bed convertible to twin singles at the push of a button.
