The Bay Rider 25 Offshore is a 25-foot fiberglass sportfish designed as a dedicated offshore fishing platform with family cruising comfort. Built in collaboration with naval architect Dan Mielke, the design combines a sharp offshore deadrise with the builder's signature high freeboard amidships and aft. The traditional Carolina bow flare sheds water effectively, while recessed wraparound handrails and structural design prioritize safety and security on the water.
The layout balances serious fishing capability with livability. Forward seating allows unrestricted 360-degree movement for fighting fish, supported by large insulated boxes for storage and catch. A walk-down console provides nearly six feet of headroom, with batteries mounted on a dedicated shelf. An oversized livewell sits integrated into the aft Euro-style transom, with the option to add a high-capacity leaning post livewell. A fold-down rear bench provides additional seating when cruising. An in-floor fish and storage box forward of the console adds capacity for extended offshore trips.
The boat draws fuel from a 160-gallon capacity tank, supporting extended range and cruising endurance. Deck drainage is engineered to direct water out the transom door, working alongside in-floor scuppers for rapid cockpit clearing. Twin 400-horsepower Yamaha outboards provide power. Integrated Garmin electronics with digital switching control onboard systems through the helm displays. This model is available as a factory build slot, allowing customization of hull color, seating layout, electronics packages, and power options before production begins.
