2026 Beneteau First 44

The 2026 Beneteau First 44 is a 44-foot fiberglass sailing yacht built as a refined middle ground between the First 36 and First 53 models. She comes in two configurations: a standard cruising setup and a performance-oriented version tailored for racing. Both feature a modern sail plan with a slender mainsail and generous foresails, supported by a mast positioned further aft to optimize performance.

The standard version emphasizes comfort and sociability with a wide-side-deck cockpit that converges toward a central table, four winches, and a fixed centerline block for the mainsheet. The performance option replaces teak cockpit sole with non-skid foam surfaces, adds two additional winches for a total of six, and includes a conventional mainsail traveller designed for racing efficiency.

Below deck, the three-cabin, two-head layout provides spacious accommodation. The main living area includes seating for six around a transversal table positioned opposite a couch and nav station. Power comes from a single 57-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine. The yacht is built of fiberglass.
