The 2026 Bennington S Swingback 22 SSB is a 23-foot pontoon built around an innovative seating concept. The swingback design allows the furniture to face either forward or backward, creating flexible dual-use configurations on the water. The boat runs on a single gasoline engine and carries a 24-gallon fuel tank with 21.4 gallons usable capacity split between main and transom tanks.

The layout centers on captain and co-captain seating with pure-comfort reclining helm chairs featuring integrated headrests, supported by a console with a one-piece rotomold design. A chaise lounge, stowable rectangular table, and soft-sided cooler round out the interior. The deck uses new shoreline woven vinyl flooring over duraframe seat bases. Seating hardware includes powder-coated hinges, and stainless steel black-rimmed cupholders. A stowable waste container and fire extinguisher are provided for convenience.

Structurally, the pontoon sits on 25-inch pontoons with rounded solid keels and quarter-inch-thick bow and stern cross channels. The exterior features anodized raised rails, a full-height S Series anodized streamline rail system, stainless steel corner castings and deck bolts, and extruded splash guards with underdeck spray deflectors. A deep-step stern boarding ladder and flush bow deck enhance access and design. A quick-release 10-foot bimini top with 1.25-inch frame and embroidered boot provides shade, along with trailering struts and a surlast mooring cover.

The console includes a custom Sterling gauge package with fuel, tachometer, and trim readouts, an hour meter, polished steering wheel, and a new Rockford Fosgate audio system with PMX-1 headunit and RM0625 speakers. Navigation and docking lights integrate into the design, and the console offers a courtesy light, locking glove box, rocker switches with dash-mount breakers, sealed Deutsch connectors, and a 12-volt receptacle with USB and AC power.
