The Blackfin 262 HB is a 26-foot hybrid bay boat built on a proven deep-V hull with a 17-degree deadrise and twin-stepped design engineered to deliver both offshore capability and shallow-water access. Powered by a single Mercury 400 outboard, the boat reaches a top speed near 57 mph and drafts just 17 inches with the engine trimmed up. The fiberglass construction uses Advanced Carbon Fiber Technology laminate and Closed Mold Technology for durability, while a hardtop with integrated LED lighting and speakers frames the helm.
The layout centers on a practical fishing platform. Twin 30-gallon insulated baitwells aft, five-gallon aerated pitchwells forward, and 10 to 12 stainless steel rod holders cover rod storage; lockable under-gunnel storage adds another layer. The leaning post includes a bait prep station with tackle storage and four rod holders, while in-floor aft storage with a pump-out light handles gear. A 45-quart Yeti cooler slides into a dedicated holder. Seating spans removable bow backrests, U-shaped bow cushions, a forward console seat, and a foldaway transom bench.
The helm runs a Garmin 1243XSV multifunction display with integrated engine monitoring, power-assisted tilt steering, and a Fusion audio system with six JL speakers. Fresh and raw water washdown faucets, dual battery switching with voltage sensing, automatic bilge, and trim tabs with auto-retract round out the mechanical package. A standard 10-inch Dometic jack plate supports shallow-water operation. Optional equipment includes an electric head with holding tank, underwater LED lights, and a Powerpole anchor system.
