The BlackJack 224 is a 22-foot bay boat built on a fiberglass hull and powered by a single 200-horsepower Yamaha engine. Designed by legendary builders Bill and Gary Kenner, the boat features a Carolina flare bow that delivers a smooth, dry ride, paired with a classic tumblehome transom. Reverse-angle, spray-reduction chines work to deflect water effectively. The hand-laid hull and deck are constructed to be both heavy-duty and lightweight.

The boat is rigged for serious fishing and everyday use. Two insulated livewells—one forward in the console and one amidships with re-circulator and fill—keep bait fresh. An insulated forward fish box with thru-hull drain handles the catch. Storage is abundant: a 10-cubic-foot bow locker, locking rod storage with protective tubes under and above the gunwales, two aft compartments for batteries and miscellaneous gear, and a 75-quart cooler under the leaning post.

Details throughout reflect fishing-focused design and quality materials. The aluminum leaning post includes storage and four rod holders. Cast 316 stainless steel hinges and rod holders avoid stamped or plated alternatives. Heavy gunwale trim with stainless inserts, custom Whitley cleats, an aluminum handrail, and a removable windscreen complete the package. Hydraulic tilt steering with a cast stainless steel wheel, a pop-up anchor cleat, anchor locker, and recessed stainless navigation lights round out the specification.
